I'm 38. Bought my first pack in 1975. I discovered card shows and bought my first "old" card (1960 Yogi Berra) in 1979. Bought a T206 Cobb and T206 Lajoie in 1980. Collected until about 1984, when I got interested in other things. Got back into collecting in 1994 and it has been virtually all Pre WWII (mostly pre WWI) ever since.
