WesleyBaseball Pinback Buttons is a heavy hardbound book that might make a nice coffee table decoration. There are thousands of quality photographs of pinbacks shown in their actual size so it may help someone who has not seen the pins to identify them.
That said I feel $85 plus postage for this book is way too much. Here are my main criticisms:
(1) The books was not meant as a priceguide, so there are no prices.
(2) There is only minimal text so unless the reader is already familiar with these pinbacks, the reader will not gain a lot of knowledge about the pinbacks in the photos.
(3) So much space is devoted to modern stadium pins and team issues. I agree with the above posters who think that the all the space devoted to the modern pins would have been better used for the prewar pinback issues.
