It's one of the reasons I'm glad not to be in the trap of expensive pre-war collecting. I can collect what I want, when I want, without feeling obligated to buy players I don't care about. It's really nice to sell some of those common t206 or Goudey players and get a card that is unique. Doing this has turned me to sets I never knew about when my focus was so narrow. One of the aspects I love about cards is the constant search for something interesting, and perhaps unknown.
