For several years buyers have outnumbered sellers and that is primarily why prices have gotten so high. Many collectors, some of them getting older (translation: baby boomers) may feel this is a pretty good time to cash in. As a result, we may be at the early stage of sellers putting a little too much material out at one time, causing prices to level off a bit. Ultimately, the market will seek its own level. But we are seeing certain sets, such as Old Judge, much cooler than they were just a year or two ago. It's pretty much Economics 101, nothing earth shattering here.
