Don't get me wrong if you send in a card you might as well get it cased. I agree that the cards will look nice it the case regardless.
Also a lot of hand cut and early cards sometimes won't be graded because of that aspect I think this sucks but it is hard to get around it.
To a large extent I wouldn't mind an authentic card counting on a set registy as having the card but with no value toward the set rating.
As I siad there are obviously some cards that you can't let the condition bother you. Anyone got a trimmed Old Mill Jackson, I Am not even sure I could afford that with the price of that card.
