I invest heavily in collectibles. My age and job situation preclude me from buying a house in my area. Since I never know when I will be in or out of employment, I feel more secure in having liquid assets in case I need to come up with cash that will meet emergency needs.
Luckily I have not encountered such a situation.
My overall investments in my hobbies have risen and gained in value.
