John, you do realize that the Jack Dempsey in this set is not the famous Jack Dempsey that most people know about. This card is mistakenly bought by many people thinking it is this and is a big reason why the card carries the price tag it does. People into the history of boxing know who this Dempsey is and how great he was, but ask most boxing fans and they will have no clue there was another great fighter named Jack Dempsey.
