I know the Mantle May's debate goes on and on. BUT to us youngsters {36). Mantle was who our dads talked about being awed by. My father was a die hard NY Giants fan as well. But alway's told me if he could pick one to see it was the Mick.

I know this is about stats. But i have to think there was something special about Mantle !

By the way i find this refreshing. I love to here from the oldsters among us regarding players they saw. But some of us only heard about and never had the pleasure to see.
