identify7It seems to me that it was not so long ago that any EVID TRM was cause for grading companies' immediate rejection of a card for grading. There were no degrees of trimming, no "mildly" qualifier to distinguish the deceptively trimmed card from that which was trimmed for asthetic preference (what could that mean? See Jay Behrens W. Johnson).
Similarly, any card doctoring was considered nearly sinful behavior, only practiced by back alley scoundrels in an attempt to defraud, or by restorers - who were better employed by those with damage to their paintings. Now we routinely include our soiled, stained t206s in our weekly lavender scented bubble baths.
Wazzup? Running out of money? Ethics? Sense?
