I've seen some Goudey 1930s cards that measure from 1/64--1/16 inch smaller in either the 2 3/8 or 2 7/8 inch dimension.
Am I safe in assuming they're definitely 'trims'--that is, were these cards always*exactly* 2 3/8 x 2 7/8 inches, or were any ever that wee fraction smaller?
