AnsonI particularly enjoyed this portion:
"This card was found behind a picture hanging on the wall of a house here in Spokane. The owner of the house is in her 90's and she said that her brother must have put it there because when when they were young, she told me that she would always try to steal her brothers cards and cut them in half ( I can still feel the pain!!!!!) and so she figured that this one got away. Ty Cobb was his favorite player. I had to pay $500 for every single one of her painting in her house so that I could tear them up and look for hidden baseball cards. I found some Allen and Ginter 1887 cards with Comiskey on it which is pretty exciting."
I know that everyone in knew to hide tobacco cards behind paintings back in the day. Maybe we should give him a shovel, as there are sure to be several treasure chests full of T206 Wagners, CJ Jacksons, Goudey Lajoies, etc burried around the home as well.
