identify7Sammy: your question is reasonable. I may be a bit harsh, but my thinking is that there are so many opportunities to buy, that one does not have to resort to sellers who employ questionable tactics.
Admittedly I only looked at his other items for sale, before I made my recommendation. But the question which was asked was "does anything smell fishy about this". And indeed, a seller who offers a certified coin lot containing PCGS, NGC, ANACS and ICG graded coins is essentially offering the same thing as in our hobby may be called PSA, GAI, PRO, NASA and NGC graded cards.
He does not specify which coins are offered. He does infer what coins could be included. And he provides all bidders with the additional security of a private auction.
This single point of evidence is all that I felt that I needed to conclude that this seller belongs in the sea. If you have had successful transactions with this seller, and you know that the cards which he supplied to you are good, then your evidence is accepted by me as valid data. However, my conclusion remains the same. I do not bid on auctions run by sellers who employ tactics which I consider questionable. And I encourage others to be (perhaps overly) careful as well, unless they are quite knowledgable, and willing to accept a calculated risk.
Edited to add:
I just read a little of his feedback: he has recently sold mainly coins. He is a scammer. You may want to reevaluate your holdings from his auctions.
