Interesting concept regarding outs made. However it was also stated that he (Sisler) struck out only 327 times. Therfore the outs he did make were outs that put the ball in play and thus moved runners along and drove some in too. Also outs made include reached on error i imagine.

Pete Rose made alot of outs too as did I am sure Henry Aaron
