1927 Yankees have 6 in the Hall of Fame... with ALL 6 being inducted as PLAYERS.

1894 Orioles also have 6 in the HOF... but only 3 were inducted as "players."

McGraw, Hanlon and Robinson are in the HOF as "Managers."

I think that's why the nod has always gone to the 1927 Yanks.
