You can start by posting a scan here. Often times people here can tell just from a scan if it is fake. Sight unseen, my guess would be that it is more likely real, but trimmed. I would also recommend getting it graded by a reputable company, either PSA, SGC, or GAI. If you spent $2600 on the card, it is worth another$25-50 to make sure it is authentic and unaltered. If not, I would try to get my money back. Good luck with this.
