Harry Wallace (HW)It is not like Sotheby's is conservative with all of their estimates: they have the DiMaggio jersey estimated at $600,000 plus.
Whoever is their "card expert" sure does not know too much. I can see being off by a little, but for them to estimate this card at LESS than a 1933 Goudey #181 Ruth in 8 or a N300 Nichols in 8, or the same as a 1963 Mantle in 10 is insane.
Luckily for the consignor (hopefully they did not sell them outright) they E107 cards will find their proper level.
