The blue and white porcelain was sitting on the marble fireplace since your visit, and we love it- but recently my cat jumped on the mantlepiece so we moved it to safer quarters. We enjoyed your visit but I do not remember that it was the week that DiMaggio died- that would make it 1999. I was working at Sotheby's then. Time surely does fly. P.S.- my beard is a lot grayer now, for sure.
