Julie VognarAbout the Madonna: I have bought two paintings from a good friend, one of which is a copy of "Madonna with a Green Cushion," by a 15th century artist, which my friend started in the Louvre, and finsihed in New York, where he was getting his M.F.A. The other is a portrait of a girl he knew at International House where he was staying in New York, called "Shira." I call the two paintings, which hang one below the other, "My two Jewish girls."
