You should thank Leon for his restraint and compassion. If that were me, it would be very hard not to visit you in person to trade your rubber check back to you for my stolen cards.

The most fitting punishment for your crime (yes, crime) is that you are the one that has to live in your skin. Good luck sleeping at night. Your life must be incredibly unfulfilling for you to be so compelled to behave in ways that create so much drama and chaos. I suppose if any of us were in your shoes we, too, would probably want to distract ourselves from the reality of our existence. Next time, try heroin. Yours might be the one case where you'll actually cause less harm to others as a using drug addict than you did when you were clean.
