Trevor, I think people were being discussing the item (with lack of information and not having seen the item in person) and not badmouthing you. As I mentioned, a baseball ambrotype like that is worth good money. The baseball Daguerreotypes are famous as ultra-rarities, but Barry once told me that there are fewer baseball ambrotypes.
