davidcyclebackEarly Major League Baseball panoramas (long photos) are rare and desirable. For the real photo versions, there are usually no more than a few of each that exist. Many were presentation pieces intended for display on a wall, and came from the estates of players, coaches and other team employees.
The only panorama I own is one from 1918 showing my grandpa and the entire crew on board his Navy destroyer ship. I checked the faces, and Ty Cobb wasn't a member of the crew. The only WWI action gramps saw was when they shot at a submarine that turned out to be a turned over row boat.
