BlackSoxFanOkay, so a friend of mine is about to turn 30 and I know he loves pre-war vintage cards (he thinks mine are actually worth something..haha). But he doesn't know anythign about them so i'd love to give him the bug with a little present. I'm looking for 1, maybe 2 cards in total. He's a huge cubs fan, so i don't know who to get him or which particular card...but here are my stipulations:
a) i would like to spend 30-35 but would go as high as 50 (this includes shipping)
b) Player must be a cuby
c) card must be somewhat readily available...
I've got some time so i don't mind waiting a bit to find it...but do you think i stick with a lowgrade t206 of tinker or someone like that or what.... You've got tinker, evers, chance, brown, vaughn.. a bunch of great players...what do you guys think?
