I don't thing press release, etc., is going to help much, but I sure hope it does. What I've found is that people are looking for a good deal, period - if they want to donate to charity, they'll write a check. I just put a pool cue on ebay with 100% going to the Red Cross, and "Katrina Relief" in the header - even advertised on a billiards forum. Zip, zilch, nada...but we'll see when the auction ends.
