The real story is that you still got away cheap.

How much higher was your bid? If the other bidder offered $350, $450. or more -- would you still have out bid him?

Ive won a bid at $400 on a card which was worth at least half of that (and Ive done worse); so you are not alone ... but you did do it on two cards.


Edited to add: I do not regret my overpayments. The cards were special, and still are to me.
