Bottom line: the sets are worth whatever the market is willing to pay in real money. So, if a 2005 refractor shiny Nolan Ryan card is worth $5000 on the open market then, yes, it is worth more than a T206 Jiggs Donohue in PSA 8 condition. Sorry, but it's true. As for the class warfare concern, can you blame these guys? Apparently some people on the board assume that anyone with cash should be looked at skeptically because they may just be fool investors and not collectors who love the hobby. Here's my question: if all the guys with cash are so dumb, how did they make their money?
