Scott ForrestI got to the game two hours early, stood in the outfield in the stifling heat trying to catch a batting practice HR. Finally gave up and went back to my seat. The last ball hit by Washington in BP bounced over the fence and rolled to me. I was mobbed as it arrived and ended up with a bloody knee and bruised shins, but the old man and two children I had to fend off suffered more.
Those stories of being able to just casually catch BP HR's before games are bunk, at least in Atlanta.
