BlackSoxFanI'm not the same type of fan i was a few years ago. I'm a big braves fan and have been since the days of Oberfell, Horner, Blauser, Murphy and a bunch of others! We stank then...there was something charming about going to a 3/4 empty fulton county and sneaking down to the best seats in the house and watching us lose night in and night out. Until i moved away after the '93 season, i had gone to most of the playoff games. Atlanta fans stink. There are two reasons for this. 1: this is a city of transiants - New Yorkers, Bostonians, Philadelphians and such.... I remember watching the Braves play the Cubs and it was like the cubs were the home team during the playoffs! I haven't been to a playoff game since 97 (b/c of college and the price)... When i do go for the games, it's for the love of cotton candy and crappy over priced hot dogs. I still enjoy it, and i'm in a fantasy league with my friends, but it's not like it used to be. I used to watch as many games as i could on TV...now i'll watch it if it's on and there is nothing better to watch. I am taken back by the game today ... so forth and so on.... the games can still be fun but i'm not as passionate.
Regards,
Black Sox Fan
