joeThis past weekend me and 5 friends went to a Yankees game at the Stadium on Friday, drove to Baltimore on Sat for and O''s game against the A's, and then drove to D.C. for the Nationals-Cardinals game. Those were the first MLB games I'd seen this year.
I live 5 subway stops away from Shea and may hit a game this week. I'd never been to Camden, but after seeing it and the way the architects incorporated everything into the stadium (food stalls, restaurants, bars, souvenir stalls, etc.) I can say that I hope the new Yankee Stadium will be somewhat similar. Don't get me wrong, I'm a lifelong Yanks fan and love Yankee Stadium, but it's a dump compared to Camden. On the other hand, RFK is a hole of a stadium for baseball. Hopefully the new park down there will be a bit better.
We had seats in center field and couldn't even see center field we were up so high.
On another note, we ended the trip in Atlantic City where I won $150 playing blackjack. Part of that went to a fairly crappy T-206 Geo. Davis card. The rest is going to replace my driver's license and wallet which I'm sure some fine citizen of Atlantic City is enjoying right now.
