leonAs one of Texas Ted's compadre's last night I can heartily say I completely agree with Frank W. on this matter. I played ball as a kid growing up, opened packs in the early '70's, and got turned off by the strike. For the rest of my thoughts just read Frank's thoughts. A synopsis of my own thought though, is that major leaguer's are overpaid, spoiled, steroid taking babies (maybe not as many steroids as of now). With that being said I thoroughly enjoy the Frisco Roughriders games (Texas AA). You drive up to the ballpark, park for free, walk across the street (less than a block), get into the game with your $10 ticket (every seat is good), eat your $2.50 hot dog (not $4.25 like the Ballpark in Arlington), and sit down and watch guys playing 85% as good as the major leaguers and everyone enjoys it. BTW, I do want to thank Ted for the free ticket and Rich for paying for the parking....all I had to do was drive...Don't get me wrong I still like watching almost any baseball but supporting the major leagues is not on my agenda.......regards
