Does that mean that the card is chipped a little or chipped a lot

Does it mean that there is a little paper loss or a lot of paper loss?
I guess chipping is a nicer way to say paper loss. It's something that could be used in an item description for a major auction house. For example:
....the amount of paper chipping barely exceeds 25% of the frontal surface area but as can be seen in the scan the 75% that remains exhibits the finest clarity and image quality and could be considered near mint to mint condition if not for the minute amount of paper chipping....
