finally got the Caruthers (from Brian McQueen; thanks, Brian). my first 19th century card, and i love it.
also got a cool companion piece in the mail yesterday- the REA auction catalog the card was sold in (4/30/05). i have no recollection of ordering one...i guess i did when i was drunk or something. oh well, i'm stoked
