As requested, I've attached scans of some of my favorite pre-war nonsports sets. Dare Devils are somewhat tough to find. Made by National Chicle, you can probably see some similarities in color and design with the Diamond Stars set. Tootsie Circus cards are scarce, but I love the colors and subjects. The R21 Believe it or Not set by Wolverine Gum (whose only other set was the equally strange and rare Strange True Stories set) have odd designs and stories. The low numbers 1-24 pop up on eBay. The high #s 25-48 are some of the rarest cards of the 30's, sports or nonsports.
