barrysloateHal- Not to burst any bubbles but while there is no question vintage cards are escalating very quickly and E107 HOFers are now red hot, we are reaching the point where vintage cards are becoming so ungodly expensive that soon only a very few very wealthy people will be able to afford them. And who will they sell them to- each other? And the high prices will cause many to sell their collections and drop out, that is inevitable. That equates to more material on the marketplace and fewer collectors. What usually happens in a situation like that? Is the hobby destined to become accessible to the very rich only? Is that good or bad? I guess opinions may vary.
