Split a lot of T207 Lewis, Lowdermilk and Miller (the Big 3) with 2 others and all 3 knew going in which one they wanted and the approximate price range.
Split a lot of E94s and the split was completely worked out before bidding got started. We got scrod by the auction house on our bidding and didn't win it, a thread already thoroughly discussed...
The key is to go in with honest and reputable people and I am happy to say there are plenty on this Board.
