Default Can anybody explain this?

Why does it make any difference whose picture is on it? The card is a condition scarcity. low pop pre-war cards have continued to rise in high grade because there are very very few in high grade.

There are a ton of collectors trying to put vintage sets together in high grade--the number is growing all the time--and the supply of high grade cards is not.

Growing demand and stable low supply usually means rising prices and I suspect that will be the case with low pop cards from this set for some time.
