davidcyclebackWhether or not I'm going to bid on the card, I don't understand what's the big deal. As my mom would say, "If it bothers you so much, quit thinking about it." In the 1960s, Topps had a card picturing the Topps staff-- balding guys and frumpy gals standing around a desk. In 1996 Pinnacle had one had one of those flashy insert sets that included a Dan Patrick card. I beleive the set's name was based on one of his catch phrases, and the card was popular on the market. Considering Patrick and Olbermann were were ESPN partners, I'm sure Olberman was well aware of Patrick's card-- perhaps as Patrick would regularly remind that he had a card and Olberman did not.
Though I can understand the bitter tears from the young lad or lass who spends $10 on a NBA wax pack and pulls a Dick Vitale.
