In 1941, Ballantine Beer produced a set of coasters...I always thought these were rather interesting and rarely seen...in the past few months, I managed to buy a handful and as I was posting a scan today, I noticed that there is a variation that is not listed...check the scans...



There are two different versions of this coaster (at least)...As another aside the 2005 SCD lists one of the Coasters as picturing Phillies but it really pictures Pirates.

Bob, I know 2006 is already in the works...maybe 2007.
