I inquired about the authenticity of a Mathewson card from a seller who has good feedback. His response does not indicate to me that he accepts any responsibility for the genuineness of the card he offers. Or maybe I am being too critical. What do you think?

"Hi, Do you guarantee that this card is an authentic card originated over 80 years ago? Thank you, G. Maines"

We've sold thousands of cards and have never had one returned on the basis that it was not authentic. That being said, we cannot guarantee that the card is authentic. I mean, you never know.
