Probably not what you're looking for, but I stumbled across this history site during an unrelated search a month back. I found it fascinating, considering Goudey showed the way baseball cards would be marketed to the public for the following 50 years, or so. I especially enjoyed the promotional letter emphasizing the quality of their gum product; one, as a huge fan of Topps baseball card gum, the quality of that product was as good as the quality control of their printer; and two, I am reminded of my trip to India where everything was "top quality, buy now"
