Five years earlier, CCC was offering essentially all T206 HOFers for $5 each, including Cobb, Johnson, Mathewson, and Young. There was obviously a steep increase in price over the next five years for Cobb. I didn't buy any of them. I just couldn't believe that cards that old could have survived, so I thought there was something fishy going on.
