Just found this forum. Finally a place where real cards and thought are discussed.

I was 16 in 1969 when the Mets won the Series. Was there ever a bigger upset? Buster Douglas, Joe Namath, 1960 Pirates? Maybe, but the Miracle Mets are #1 with me. Remember exactly where I was, 10th grade in The Bronx H.S. of Science. It was such a big deal in NYC that the school actually let us bring and listen to transister radios in class! Reggie's 3 dingers come in second for me. I've been with him several times and always liked the experience. He is definiteluy quirky, but was always nice to me. Perhaps it was all my drool! TJS
