RobertSI was wondering if any of you had ever come across a T206 with two factory designations? I recently picked this Willis card up with a couple of T206 commons.
The reverse clearly was miscut initially, yet the overprint was applied in the correct place, yielding a card with two factory designations -- Factory No. 30 and Factory No 42.
The ornate design line meant to overprint the Factory No. 30 is centered, as is the Factory. No 42 text, yet the original back is shifted to the right and up.
The card is clearly factory cut, so it isn't complete printer's scrap. What do you guys make of this one?
