Sorry to hear about your loss. Like some of the above posters, it sounds like an inside job. It seems more logical to steal and turn around electronics (your guitar, tv, etc.) at a pawn shop then to resell vintage cards. Did you make any recent sales of your vintage cards where you met up with someone at a common location? Maybe they followed you home. Too fishy that someone went right to the hiding spot for your cards.
Hope they catch the culprit.
