Most antique major league and many other league tickes will have good financial value.

I once had a small collection of 1896 Rockford IL Base Ball Tickets. The tickets were specifically designated to men or women. The male tickets were blue, while the female tickets were bright pink.

I think antique baseball and other sport tickets, handbills, ribbons, pocket skeds and such ephemera are a fascinating area to collect. Many of the items the collector will pick up-- a rules book for a small MI league or Bloomer Girls handbill-- will be the only examples that exist.

I once sold on eBay a tiny unillustrated 1890s foldover rules booklet for a small league in the UP Michigan to the Henry Ford Musuem. The museum was going to have a showing about early agricultural life in Michigan and the museum's curator was on eBay looking for stuff for the exhibit. The booklet was rare and likely unique.
