If prewar is pre-Korean war: MP&Co cards, does this really need an explanation?

If prewar is pre-WWII (the big one): strip cards, very crude.

If prewar is pre-WWI (the war to end all wars): E91 cards, very generic. Any set that uses the same pictures for different players hardly qualifies as a set (my opinion).
