Never used one, but can't help but wonder how safe any sniping service could be.

You must have to give them your eBay ID and password for it to work. Maybe at the very least send your info thru their server.

I have a tough time just trusting eBay with my info and surely they are a lot more secure than any "auction service". Hackers break into bank computers for crying out loud.

Could you imagine if somebody got your ID and password from one of those services.....they would then have access to ALL of your credit information on file with ebay.

Sounds to me like a first step on the road to a possible identity-theft. In fact that was why I quit using Andale counters, no way is anyone but me and eBay going to know my password if I can help it.

I just can't believe ANY snipe is worth those risks!!!!
