I am one who has stashed away a handful of HOFs with rare backs and am a bit perplexed as to why they don't command more of a premium, especially since they are so hard to find if a person is actually looking for them. I am sure Hal can vouch for this. But I have always been facinated with the different T206 backs. I must admit, I am not obsessive enough to worry about factory and dist. #s. I am told there are a few collectors out there in pursuit of master T206 sets which would include all possible front and back combinations down to factory and district numbers, not simply brand names.
But there are limits. Though I would love to own the Cobb/Uzit that has been available for a couple of years now, 50k or 75k (I can't remember now what they are asking) is too much of a premium for me.
