Morris' W-L record is 254-186. That is, the total number of games he won exceeds the total number of games he lost by 68. In an eighteen year career, that comes out to a production of less than 4 more wins than losses per year.
And it is obvious that a pitcher with a 3.90 ERA certainly won few games by himself.
