Juliein a Mastro auction several years ago. It didn't even HAVE an LOA. But it cost like it did.
Since the very first card I ever bought in a PSA holder (a '64 Rose), I have known that not only were they inaccurate graders, but--sneaky about it, as well! I'm hardly surprised to find out that their autograph authenticator doesn't know which hand Ruth signed things with (he was probably one of those kids--like my father--who was forced to write with his right hand in school, although his inclination was to use his left, as he did for other things).
Does Rickey Henderson sign with his left or his right hand? He catches one way, bats another (no cracks about him being too old to write!)
