BobI put together most of the set in VG condition (and P-F for most of the big stars) between 1999-2002, just missing the #92 Gehrig (ran out of money, not that it was hard to find) and of course the Lajoie (never had money for that). The cards that I found difficult to get were;
#97 Joe Morrisey
#127 Mel Ott (by far the hardest)
#200 Bill Hallahan
#203 Lonnie Warneke
#224 Frank Demaree
#226 Charlie Moore
#227 Bill Herman
Keep in mind that a common above Ex, a HOF above VG and a Ruth/Gehrig above a Poor would be above my budget. I still seem to recall that the Ott didn't show up much in any condition.
